Oh Dr. Sheppard how I love, adore and respect you immensely! I went to see him to "sign off" on surgery so I could just have steroid injections, but little did I know that it would be a bit more critical. After doing some tests he told me I needed to have a cervical laminoplasty or I would be using a cane or wheelchair within a year. Within a month I had the surgery and it is nothing short of miraculous how much I have improved. Before I could barely move my neck from side to side and now I can make a circle moving my head! I'm also able to get back to exercising with a battle rope which before I couldn't lift my head while exercising with it. Dr. Sheppard is one of the best doctors on this planet!! Not only has he been gifted with great surgical skills but just as important for a patient is he has INCREDIBLE compassion, genuinely cares for you, takes the time to really meet your needs and concerns and will pray with you!! I'm crying as I write this because he really is the best of the best and his parents should be so proud that they raised such a fine human being that has and will continue to touch lives and really make a difference! Wow! One word I would use to describe Dr. Sheppard. I have never experienced such a compassionate, thoughtful, meticulous physician. He made me and my family feel at ease about having such a delicate surgery. He explained the pros/cons and encouraged us to get a second opinion as well. He checked on me several times and answered all concerns. Dr. Sheppard has a beautiful heart. He is a Godsend!

Dr. Sheppard is amazing! He is kind and compassionate. After I was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer, he took special time out of his day to come and see me. He explained my condition, showing me important points on the MRI, and clearly explained the goals of surgery and its risks. Dr. Sheppard is professional, knowledgeable, and talented. During the surgery to remove my tumor, he safeguarded my nerves, which enabled me to still have full control of my body! During my stay in the hospital and afterward, Dr. Sheppard regularly checked in on me, always with genuine concern and care. I can’t speak highly enough of him! God used Dr. Sheppard to help heal my body, and I am so very thankful!

Dr Sheppard & his office staff are incredible! All my questions were answered and he spent a lot of time discussing my procedure, expectations post-op, and timelines with me and my family. Dr. Sheppard gave me my life back! I’m a 38yo professional drummer.
